What we collect, what we don't.

Forecasts are available without an account. Below we explain optional account features, cookieless traffic measurement and masked usage recording enabled only with your permission.

2Data we collect

You do not need to provide contact details to view forecasts. The following data may be processed when using the service:

FORMSchool/partnership form: school name, location, contact (phone/email), monthly students and your answers.

ACCOUNTOptional account: email, password hash, session, follows, language/timezone, notification preferences and notification subscriptions for devices you authorize. Passwords are not stored in plain text.

UMAMICookieless traffic measurement: public page path, referring site, browser/device, screen size, language, approximate country/region and time. IP and browser information are processed on the server to generate a pseudonymous identifier; raw IPs are not stored in Umami analytics tables. URL queries and form content are not sent. Account, admin, application and embedded widget pages are excluded.

CLARITYOnly after you choose “Allow recording”, Microsoft Clarity records clicks, scrolling and page layout on permitted public pages. All text is masked; login, signup, profile, dashboard, admin and application pages are excluded. Names, emails and account IDs are not sent as custom identifiers. Rejecting recording does not prevent use of the site.

WIDGETWidget usage: aggregated counters only (which spot, which site host, which day). No IP stored, no cookies, no user tracking.

DEVICEYour theme and last plan selection (sport, spot, day and forecast range) are remembered in this browser using localStorage. Shared plan links contain these selections. A temporary sessionStorage entry in the tab lets us complete a follow you started before signing in.

3Purpose

Form data supports contact and partnership assessment; account data provides the follow/notification features you request. Umami and widget counters measure usage; consented Clarity recordings help identify usability problems. Advertising profiling is not enabled.

4Transfers

Form submissions may be forwarded to our team messaging tool (such as Slack). Site traffic passes through hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure; Umami runs on our own analytics server. Consented Clarity usage data is transferred to Microsoft Azure infrastructure and may be processed abroad. We do not sell your data.

5Retention

Form data is kept for as long as needed to evaluate the partnership, or until you request deletion.

Your privacy choice is stored in your browser for 180 days. Clarity’s _clck cookie stores a user identifier/preferences for 1 year; _clsk links pageviews into a session for 1 day. They are used only with recording consent. Advertising storage is disabled. Microsoft normally retains recordings for 30 days; sampled or favorited recordings may be retained for up to 9 months.

You can reject recording or withdraw consent. “Exclude this browser from all analytics” stops both Umami and Clarity and can also be used for team/test devices. Neither collector starts when your browser signals DNT or GPC.
